About Mim & Mark Cross
Since 1996, Mim and Mark Cross have been helping the early development of Sydney’s children at the homely Rosebery Cottage.
Many parents are impressed with the different fun daily activities on offer, the level of genuine care and interest shown, alongside the unwavering commitment to ensuring every child is ready for the transition to primary school.
A family of five, Mim and Mark treat every child as an extension of their own family and are passionate about providing children with unique and fun experiences that help develop the social, intellectual, emotional, and physical skills needed for a great childhood – and all in an environment that the kids love to be in!

Located just 10 minutes from the Sydney CBD, Rosebery Cottage is a uniquely natural early childhood learning centre focused on providing your child with the best developmental opportunities available.
We also ensure that your child is ready for the transition to primary school, which many parents can find stressful if they’re not prepared – we help you with all of this.
Tots
Ages 6 weeks – 3 years
For children under 2 years old the staff ratio is 1:4. For children 2 to 3 years old the staff ratio is 1:5.
We have a very nurturing environment where the children can develop their confidence, become independent and develop resilience required in a faster paced preschool setting.
Preschool
Ages 3 – 5 years
In our preschool we have children over 3 years with a staff ratio at 1:10. The older children are given a sense of responsibility and ownership for their own tasks as their motor skills and communication skills are on a fast growth spurt. Our 5 years olds can participate in school readiness programs to help them with the big move from preschool to full time school and we even encourage our 5 year olds to wear their new school uniform to Rosebery Cottage in the last few weeks of the year so that they can start getting excited about the big changes ahead whilst in a nurturing and familiar environment.
